Portfolio

FLY Leasing has a portfolio of 100 modern, fuel-efficient and high-demand commercial jet aircraft.

  • Fleet includes 94 narrow-body passenger aircraft, six wide-body passenger aircraft and two freighters.
  • The average age of FLY’s portfolio was 9.6 years weighted by net book value and appraised value of each aircraft at March 31, 2013.

FLY leases its aircraft on long-term operating leases under which the lessee is responsible for all operational, maintenance and insurance costs and for maintaining the aircraft. The lessee is also responsible for meeting strict security, maintenance and redelivery standards. The majority of the leases include fixed rental rates, separate maintenance accrual payments and security deposits, as well as “full-life” return conditions.
